Epson xp225 - The ink toner light is permanently on and the machine will not print. I have just replaced 2 cartridges.

Hi,I'm sorry about the issue. Was the ink toner light on before replacing the ink cartridges?Does it still let you make a copy from the printer's glass? And/or does it still let you print?Please reply at the box below. Thank you.

Can you please turn off the printer, then disconnect the power cord from it for a couple of minutes, then re-connect, then turn on, and check?- If needed, make sure the cartridges are installed properly. Yes I bought Epson multipack 18 the other day as I only bought the printer in July and thought that they would all run out at the same time

How were you able to replace the ink cartridges previously when the print head could not move?Can you open the printer's cover, then press and hold the red Stop button for six (6) seconds, then does the print head move? Thank you.

The print head was at the replacement bit. Now it is on the far right hand side.
It does not move when I hold it down for 6 seconds.

Thank you for your help, however I found the help in France better. The person on the end of a telephone who explained different possibilities, and waited whilst I tried. He believes it is a problem of wrong inks. Is it a possibility ? He has not suggested that I return the machine for the moment. He also asked me for a file number which you never gave me.
