I want to warn you that it is possible you will need to replace a part in order to fix this. There are a few different things that can cause this and a couple different parts so we would need to troubleshoot to find out for sure. Is it the same number every time?
I did try the 70 seconds unplug. As for the insert cartridges message, the little screen on the printer has been in Japanesse, and so I cannot see what it is telling me to do. As for taking out or reinserting the cartridges, I cannot do this because the cartridge holder, which usually runs back and forth across the printer is frozen in the right-hand position, just out of reach & view.
