I have just purchased a new Canon MG7750 printer, set it

Customer Question

Hi
I have just purchased a new Canon MG7750 printer, set it up, and printed a couple of photos from my computer, although the photo quality overall is really good, there are a few very thin lines across the paper, (top edge 4 lines approx 1/2 inch apart and then again on the bottom edge about 3/4 inch from the end of the paper) i have used A4 Canon Glossy photo paper

thanks
Can you click start, devices and printers.
Then right click the printer and select printer properties.
Then click on Maintenance and perform a nozzle clean
Let this complete and when it has, tell me how the prints now look.
I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you. Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all. Just let me know please.
Else Let me know the results please

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
ive just noticed that at the top of the page there is like a small grid pattern which appears to be slightly lop sided, is this correct?
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
On the Text page that is normal, but try a photo and see how that comes out please.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok just finished printing and the result seems to be much the same with faint lines in the same places
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, can be smudges or problems on the rollers.
Open the printer and clean the rollers with a damp cloth.
Let it dry and then try to print.
Let me know the results please
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i have only bought this printer today brand new and to be honest there doesnt seem to be any way of getting to the rollers
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
even new, there is a problem and smudges are usually the rollers.
Open the printer and you will see the rollers there, also where the paper comes out.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
hi
the print is the same with the lines
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
Thanks
It is the printhead that's faulty, its not discharging the ink correctly.
We have ruled out all other causes for this
I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the printer to have this replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
