I purchased an HP Envy 4500 e-All-in-One printer on 09-02-16,

I purchased an HP Envy 4500 e-All-in-One printer on 09-02-16, I have printed about 9 documents since purchase.
Today however when I try to print, it keeps telling me it's off line. I have made no adjustments as I am not too clever with equipment.
Could you help me as to what I should do to fix the problem.
