My printer says it is offline. My WiFi connection is good

my printer says it is offline. My WiFi connection is good and everything is plugged in properly. I have turned the computer and printer off and then back on. It is an HP3520 that is connected to my IMAC. Help please

Judy, if you are not able to open the session then follow these steps:

  1. click the Apple icon , and then click System Preferences.

  2. Click Printers and Scanners, Print & Fax, or Print & Scan to open the Printers list.

  3. Right-click the blank space in the Printers list, and then click Reset printing system....(Check the attached image)

  4. Click Reset in the confirmation window.

  5. Enter the administrator user name and password, and then click OK.

  6. Wait until the printing system is reset and no devices show in the Printers list.

  7. Now click the + sign that you see under the empty Printers list.

  8. Find and select the name of your printer from the Printer list, and then click Add to add your printer.
