Can you please remove the power to the printer (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the printer, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

A bit concerned about allowing remote assistance although it would be helpful. Is the £22 on top of the £20 already paid.

For your issue as it is a printer, there is no need for it as this problem will be straight forward as the the cause depending on the results

It is the internal memory that has faulted. It defaults to a chinese message as this is the most default program installed

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the printer to have it replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.

As the printer was just 10 months old - it has been returned to the manufacturer by the shop for repair/replacement.
