I own an end terrace 1930s ex-council house. My neighbour

Customer Question

I own an end terrace 1930's ex-council house. My neighbour has right of access around the house. Can this access be bought or changed so as to run around the outer boundary of property? Although my neighbour keeps within the law he exploits it to the maximum and will use it up to 30 times a day. I understand from his housing society that this is his legal right.

What do the deeds state on this point?

that the neighbour has unrestricted right of access..it's a narrow strip of land ...could easily be changed ..dating back to council house times

Will he agreed to change it? Even if you pay money?

Whilst it may be annoying, does it constitute any nuisance?

I will tell you that this is nothing to do with the police, even if you block the access. It is a civil matter, not a criminal one.
