A lease hold agreement for commercial.property
Fixed for 5 years with a break clause halfway through
hello, tonight a colleague called us to say 3 men had arrived representing the landlord and were changing the locks.
He said he had peaceful entry so was allowed to change the locks until the issue had been resolved
once we arrived he then said we were owing rent, he had no id, no letters and hadn't sebt us any post, we had been sending cheques at their requests since we moved in in may 2010
After many calls back and forth tonight it looks like we are owing 6 payments, and have found 2 recent payments which they did bank, however they have changed the locks and not letting us in. What should we do?
we have offered to make some payments we owe approx 20k and offered to pay over 6 k tomorrow he sent us his personal bank details not the landlords, we can do a direct transfer but need to get into the office to get our paperwork
I've not had an answer to my question, its now early enough for me to get advice elsewhere, this online service has not been of any use to me at all.
