I am sorry but I can't give you good news.

There is an initial tax-free exemption for unfurnished properties.

In order for it to be exempt that the three months, you would have to remove all the furniture.

The legislation does not mention uninhabitable, the criteria is furnished.

Therefore, it does not matter whether it is uninhabitable or not I am sorry to have to tell you.

The councils are really tightening up on this because they are trying to encourage landlords not to have empty properties
