Resolved Question:

My neighbour is taking photograhs of my back garden from their upstairs window. They are also taking photographs of the number plates of cars parked outside my property.
Is either or both incidents illegal?
Thanks

Hello,

As long as they are not coming into your land/prioperty to take the photographs of your garden and cars, I am afraid the act of taking the photographs is intself legal.

However, I do see some form of harassment or stalking here which is a criminal offence and you may complain about this to the police. Spying on someone is a form of stalking which is a criminal offence.

Hope this helps
