we live in a property with a six month tenancy agreement we moved in 15th nov just found its being activley trying to be sold with another agent . i went in to where its being sold and they were happy to give me a set of details and that it would be a quick sale if i was intrested.....i understand that this is in breach of contract as 4 months isnt up yet and weve not been informed please advise

what are my rights

You have a tenancy agreement for 6 months and are entitled to stay until the end.

You can renew if the landlord agrees

The landlord still has to give you 2 month’s notice.

This must be by s21 notice.

You may end up with a new landlord for part of the term.

The new landlord must give you his details.

Your rights under the tenancy are unaffected.
