Customer Question

We are considering purchasing a cottage (No. 4) in a row of four.

All the cottages are leasehold and have the right to use a washhouse in the garden of No. 4.

We also have the option of purchasing the freehold for all the cottages.

If we gave/sold the Freeholds to the other cottages would the Leasehold rights be obsolete?

We would like to demolish the washhouse and replace with off road parking but cannot do so because of the leasehold rights.

Thank you for your help.
