tdlawyer :

Hello, thank you for your question. My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with your question.

tdlawyer :

There are two thing in the main you would need to do see to evidence the existence of the lease. The first is the lease itself, and the second, is a title number from HM Land Registry. Once you have this, you can do a search and find the lease at the land registry. This will tell you who the owner of the lease is , and whether it is still in force.

tdlawyer :

Does this help? Is there anything else I can answer on this for you?

Customer:

if i buy the lease will it keep its value or loose value over time

tdlawyer :

That's hard to say, it's a lot like buying normal property, values go up and down, and this is really investment advice and you'd have to see a financial advisor about that really.

Customer:

ok so if i buy the lease for 99years it would have a resale value up or down so i would be the owner untill resale

tdlawyer :

Yes, that's right.

Customer:

ok thank you

tdlawyer :

Thank you. Is there anything else I can assist you with?
