Hi,

You need to take two steps:
1. You need to have leases drawn up by a solicitor - this involve having a landlord *the freeholder) and the two proposed tenants (basically this will be whoever buys the flat).

2. You will need to look into whether you need to change the use class of the property to turn it into multiple dwellings. Do you know what use class it is currently?
