We are not joint owners of the property, my wife is the sole

We are not joint owners of the property, my wife is the sole owner but because I have a dept in my name only, my creditor have got a charging order granted by the court and is registered a charge on the land registry on my wife's property. The dept does not belong to her. Can the court do this or there's some mistake.
