We were granted full planning permission for a kitchen extension

Customer Question

We were granted full planning permission for a kitchen extension and my neighbour wants to stop us from building it, she says she will take an injunction. She failed to object during the planning consultation. Can she stop us from building? Thank you Elle.

Customer:

Hello, I am a solicitor with 20 years experience. I will try to help you with this.

Customer:

Does she say why she will be objecting?

JACUSTOMER-d3svg2gn- : She is saying loss of light, she was one window on her house, alongside where the extension is. And a conservatory on the side, she is saying she will loss all light. Our extension is a simple single storey kitchen extension with a hip roof.
Customer:

I very much doubt that she would be able to do this.

JACUSTOMER-d3svg2gn- : That's good news! But she is quite headstrong, how much of an interference could she be, legally speaking.
Customer:

I am busy at the moment with my children but will get back to you later this evening.
