Alex Watts : Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.
Alex Watts : Usually you only have to pay reasonable legal costs.
Alex Watts : They can't overcharge you. If you can get it done cheaper then they must pick a lower quote, they can't profit from it
Alex Watts : Ask to see the quote from the Solicitors.
Alex Watts : I am sure it's not this.
Alex Watts : But you usually pay the landlords reasonable legal costs.
Alex Watts : but the key is reasonable.
Alex Watts : You can't be ripped off
Alex Watts : Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
Customer:

the landlord is duchy of lancs. solicitor is farrer & co in london queen soliciter so i am paying london prices.

Alex Watts : If you can get it done cheaper locally they should use a firm there. £1500 is way too much.
Alex Watts : Ot shouldn't be more than £500
Alex Watts : Call some London firms and check for yourself.
Alex Watts : Even at that rate you are being ripped off
