I have just agreed to sell an apartment but simultaneously a creditor has appointed a receiver to the property , can they prevent the sale ?

No. i have been in dispute with the creditor and that is why I am selling the property by appointing the receiver they will be adding an extra €10000 to the cost of sale which I wish to prevent.
