Is it legal tenant to pay a landlord or management agency

Resolved Question:

Is it legal for a tenant to pay a landlord or management agency 12 months rent in advance
if the tenants are from abroad and therefore have no referencing details in this country?

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.
No.
It's a matter for the Landlord and contract. But it's not a legal requirement. It's not illegal to ask for 12 months up front either.
Can I clarify Anything for you about this today please?
