Customer Question

In an area of special conservation, what height should a roadside hedge be cut to?

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you.
It depends on the council, each is different. But planning permission is needed for any fence or hedge, usually if it's over 2 meters high or 1 meter if next to a highway, planning is needed. But in a conservation area planning is needed in any event.
So you need to ask the council to see whether planning has been obtained and what height they specified.
Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
