I have a shop lease years and one of the 3 named owners

Customer Question

I have a shop lease for 6 years
and one of the 3 named owners of the property has died
is my lease still valid,
I guess the estate of the deceased will have to be sorted out
what do I need to do ?

Your lease is still valid. You don't have to do anything. The landlord's interest in the lease in respect of the person who has died vests in his estate. That might result in a change of landlord in that his beneficiaries will eventually inherit his share in the property but the lease continues and the executors and beneficiaries are bound by it.
