Then you will have to agree to not receiving your funds if that goes ahead and this is something your son will have to take this into account within his negotiations

Just to add
You protected your loan with a formal Legal Charge which means that if the property is sold the Mortgage and your loan will have to be paid off before any funds are given to either your son or his wife.
The only way that would change would be if YOU reached an agreement with your son allowing him to use those funds for other purposes
