My partner and I signed a tenancy agreement on the 22nd

Customer Question

Hi. My partner and I signed a tenancy agreement on the 22nd of the month. We changed the payment date to the 1st paying a few weeks extra to make things easier with pay dates. We asked when we had to give notice and was told the 1st of the month. We have just given notice to the landlords agent for the first. They have got back to us saying that we can only give notice for the 22nd of December meaning that they want us to pay until the 22nd Jan.
