A month or so ago, my tenants kitchen cabinets collapsed

Resolved Question:

A month or so ago, my tenants kitchen cabinets collapsed unfortunatly scratching her flatmates arm. Within 2 hours of hearing the news, I had a handy man come round and reattached the cupboard back - good as new.
She is now using this an excuse to break her contract a month early on the grounds that I do not taking her health and safety seriously which of course is totally untrue. (I even offered to take the flatmates out for dinner apologies and to discuss how best to go forward and how I can improve their stay)
Does she have a leg to stand on?

No, she doesn't.

It is typical victim nonsense.

We all have these accidents. We just don't make a song and dance about them.

This is nothing like a reason to break a contract and she is liable.

Can I clarify anything for you?

Jo
