Our next-door neighbour's tree has come down in our garden

Customer Question

Our next-door neighbour's tree has come down in our garden just now. It is old and it is massive; I cant get near it to asses what damage has been caused. Before I go round, what are my rights? Who is responsible for taking it away?

it is the responsibility of your neighbour. It is his tree and they are responsible for any damage caused to your property. His household insurance should cover it.

Best regards
