Customer Question

My husband and I signed for a assured short hold tenancy for 1 year with a lettings agent. We both reviewed in our contract but it doesn't say that we're not allowed to move out of the property even with a month's notice. Our landlord approved of us leaving. Would that change the contract?

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you.

Yes. If the landlord approved it, then that overrides the contract.

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?

The property will be left 7 months without a tenant. What would be the best "bargain" that we could offer him once the contract overrides. For sure he will negotiate...

Indeed. But if he has agreed and it's in writing, that is all you need.

Does that clairfy?
