Problem just started. And the dvds are all shop-bought and in good condition.

thanks Kit,

Either the Lens in the DVD recorder is dirty or has faulted.

You will need to perform a lens clean to confirm this.

If you do not have a cleaning kit, you can purchase one from my link below.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Piece-Complete-DVD-Cleaning-Kit/dp/B000MHJJ0I

Perform a clean of the Lens using this Kit and then try to run a DVD.

If it is still failing, it will be the actual lens that has faulted and you will need to have this replaced.

It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement of the Lens will be done at know cost to you.

If you would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
