Subject funai dbvr-5500
This unit does not respond. The power light comes on ok as does the VCR light. When one selects dvd it changes for about 10seconds and then reverts to VCR. The disc light is on but no disc in place.
Can you help?

There may be a problem with the optical lens inside the DVD compartment.

Try running a cleaning disc in it and let me know if that helps.
