I have a Funei DVD/VCR dual recorder model DRVR-B778S . Problem

I have a Funei DVD/VCR dual recorder model DRVR-B778S .
Problem is that the VCR no longer works - the little catch which
holds the cassette in place when loading is broken.
Can I get this repaired?

Hello my name is***** look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem.
I want to warn you that it is possible you will need to replace a part in order to fix this.
There are a few different things that can cause this and a couple different parts so we would need to troubleshoot to find out for sure.
How old is the machine? Can you take a picture of the broken part for me?

Hi Freddy M - Re my Funai dual VCR/DVD recorder - having had another

inspection I realize that there are other problems as well, so I have decided

that the most sensible thing is to waste no further time on it and to simply

scrap the device (which is quite an old one anyway). I do have other

recording/playback arrangements in place so will not miss it,
