Thank you
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I have got a Toshiba RDXV60KB and a Panasonic DMR-EZ49V. When I try to play a disc finalized on Toshiba on the Panasonic recorder the machine comes up with 'This disc is not formatted properly. Do you want to format the disc now?'. I have not problems the other way. The discs I use are -RW.

Expert:  Richard replied 2 years ago.
The Toshiba uses Div X which the Panasonic cannot read. This is the problem with a lot of the Panasonics as they do not have this codec.
The disc though will play in computers and other Toshiba players, but these disks do not work on most of the Panasonic players sorry.
