My Denon PMA-350 connected to A Marantz CD player does not

Customer Question

My Denon PMA-350 connected to A Marantz CD player does not switch on. Recently while carrying out some home improvements I cut through the power cable. I reconnected the cut ends and found that the unit did not switch on. Thinking that my reconnection might not be good, I connected the cable length still directly connected to the amp to the power source. It still did not switch on. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

Nathan :

I'm not quite clear which device (denon or the player) won't come on.

Nathan :

WHen you say you cut through power cable, do you mean the in wall wiring? Or do you mean the mains lead for the amp or cd?
