Resolved Question:

I have a sony dvd recorder RDR-DC100. I cannot remove the information logo on the top left hand side of the screen which says : Player 1 (hdd/dvd) , a symbol that has an arrow, pointing to 3 dots in in a circle, (which i cannot locate on my remote) & 1080i/50 sign underneath that. Can you please advise me how to remove this from my screen?

Good Morning Joy David and thanks for TV model number info.
Please grab Sony TV remote and push Info button located on top left of remote and has i+/? icon, does the on-screen display disappear now?
If not yet, grab the DVD Recorder remote and press Info button located on top of right arrow navigation button and check.
Please reply back with the result and if problem resolved then a positive rating to answer would be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
