Hi there and welcome

On the remote on your recorder, press the input or source button to get back to the correct input channel.

Let me know how you go please

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
There is no Source button, but an Input Select. I tried that, it showed that it is in HDD AV2 but nothing else happens

Expert:  Richard replied 3 months ago.

Remove the power to the recorder (so unplug it from the power socket)

Wait 5 minutes, connect the power and tell me if it then functions please.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Sadly it is back where we were 10 minutes ago, i.e. AV1 or AV2

What is the recorder connecting to for a signal? eg: Cable box, satelite box?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Just an aerial (is that a cable box?)
Expert:  Richard replied 3 months ago.

No it is different.

On the front of the recorder, open the flap and you see the channel up and down buttons.

Hold both of these for 7 seconds then release.

This will reset the unit, once done, set it up again like when you first received it and tell me please if you then get a signal.
