Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I will try help you with this.

Mark :

Does the engine misfire?

Customer: Yes
Customer: This is not working...
Mark :

Hi

Customer:

hi mark

Mark :

If it is misfiring then it could be the coil or a bad spark plug.

Mark :

It could also be a bad wiring connection.

Mark :

Are you able to determine which cylinder is misfiring?

Customer:

how do i know what it is??

Customer:

no

Mark :

You have to carry out diagnostic tests

Mark :

The first thing would be to try determine what cylinder was misfiring.

Customer:

i had 2 coils replaced at about 50000 miles, this feels like the sae thing

Customer:

just over 90000 now.

Mark :

When did you last replace the spark plugs?

Customer:

i havent, although they may have ben done 2 years ago when my cam belt broke

Customer:

cant remember if he did them.

Mark :

So it is possible they have done over 40000 miles.

Customer:

yes

Mark :

I would check them first.

Mark :

Why don't you service the car?

Mark :

Prevention is always better than cure.

Customer:

ok, its going in for a service next week, i could get it all checked out then.

Mark :

That would be the best thing to do.

Customer:

ok, thanks for your time.

Mark :

Hopefully a full service will cure it.

Mark :

No problem

Customer:

bye.

Mark :

Please remember to rate my assistance.

Mark :

Bye

Customer:

ok

Mark :

Thanks
