Customer Question

My 16 year old has been taken to the station for questioning. He has been questioned already about the same matter two months ago. The police say that as he is over 16 I cannot go into interview with him though he wanted me there. Are they right?

Thank you for your question.

That is correct but he can insist on a solicitor being there.

Happy to discuss further.

I hope this helps. Please leave a positive response so that I am credited for my time.
