I was a customer of TalkTalk but changed to BT a couple of months ago, I received my final bill for two lines and broadband plus a heafty cancellation fee which I paid, albeit reluctently. Then I had to go into hospital for emergency surgery and my husband found that the broadband no longer worked. Turned out that one of the lines we had with TalkTalk was for the broadband, but they never cut the line when we cancelled. Instead they said that the second line was a separate account even though we had never received a separate bill. My husband was more or less bullied into paying for the line to get the broadband back. I have just got out of hospital and have now ensured that the broadband is now out of reach of TalkTalk. What I need to know is how can they say the second line was a separate account when it was always included in the one bill. Regards, XXXXX XXXXX
