Customer Question

My ex husband allowed my 16 year old son normally resident in Scotland to get a very large tattoo whilst on holiday in England . I am beyond angry/dismayed , what can I do?

Thank you for your question.

The Tattooing of Minors Act 1969 makes it illegal for anyone to tattoo you if you are under the age of 18 - although the offence is with the person who carries out the procedure, rather than the person who asks for the tattoo.

Accordingly you can report the tattoo artiste to the police.

Happy to discuss further.

I hope this helps. Please leave a positive response so that I am credited for my time.
