Hi my name is ***** ***** kinmond my daughter was attacked by a staffie dog and required overnight stay in hospital her chest was wounded and her back up leg had to be glued and stitched it was no fault of hers the man was 50yrs old and had his chargws dropped all because it was 8pm at night and she was walking home withbher gran in the dark an had her tiny torch, the dog nor man had seen this torch as they heard the dog bark and growl before they turned the corner as my girl knows not to let dogs catch sight of torches, the police said he was a well repected member of his community and they dropped charges as the dog was not his he was taking care of the dog so the dog had been in custody of police but they waited 5/6 weeks to tell me the dog was returned to its rightfull owner, my dughter is the only person that has suffered the nightmares are still on going her eating is affected she has a big scar an now says she'l never wear shorts in summer she wont go near any dogs there has been nothing offered to her like victim support nor any compensation is there anything or anybody thar can help me as im all alone iv been to doctors She has adhd there telling me to forget all this but we cant she still suffers silently she is only 8yrs old it was in dundee papers I need to do something but dont know hownor who to turn to please help me worried parent I can be contacted on *********** help us please
