If a Will has been completed and paid out to people over a year ago, what happens if you find more assets. Do you go back to the lawyer.?

Yes, the executor has to go to the lawyer who wound up the estate and he will apply to the court to extend the Certificate of Confirmation by submitting what is called an "eik". This is not uncommon and can be dealt with quite easily by a solicitor.
