Customer Question

My first husband and I divorced on 12 10 1978 and I was awarded £10 per week until my death or remarriage. I remarried 10 1 2003. I never received any money from my ex husband in all those years. Can I claim that money now. I reside in Scotland and he is in England.

Thank you for your question.
You can claim back 20 years, ie, 1995 to 2003. Anything more than 20 years ago is time barred.
I hope this helps. Please leave a positive response so that I am credited for my time.
