The notice of the Notice to quit and AT6 is about to expire.

Resolved Question:

The notice of the Notice to quit and AT6 is about to expire. But Summary Cause actions are currently taking 2 months to be first called in the Edinburgh Sheriff court.
Is there anything I can do to expedite its hearing?

Thank you for your question.
Two months for a first calling isn't really that bad in the scheme of things. Some courts in Scotland are longer than that. Unfortunately all you can do is ask the clerk to book it in with as early a return date as possible, perhaps because your mortgage company is pressuring you or some such reason. If you take the summons to the court personally and speak to the clerk they may be able to help you.
I hope this helps. Please leave a positive response so that I am credited for my time.
