I have been left a sum of money by a friend (scottish Law) but it is taking a long time. If I die before (I'm 82) I receive this bequest will my beneficiaries benefit? Thank you. Nancy C.W.

If you were to pass away before you received the monies you had been bequeathed - then the monies would form part of your estate to be distributed in accordance with your will.
