hi, if in a redundancy meeting wher the company are delibarately bulet-pointin incorrect information so you ask for full recording and they say their personal preferece is not to ( but there is no policy). i have since stated that may be there personal prefernce but mine is still for full recording and probably taping. am i leavng mysef open to any recriminations if i do it given that have stated up front in email that i will do it, its not a secret. i am referring to scots law here.

You can insist on recording the meeting and it would then be up to them whether to proceed with the meeting. If they don't agree then you can insist on writing down every word that is said however long that takes.
