How to change driveshaft on kobota 900

Customer Question

How to change driveshaft on kobota 900

I am concerned about the diff.. Lock internals. Do I have to engage diff lock before commencing the removal of drive shafts? Do the shafts pull out of the final drive freely, or is there any bolts- retainers to be removed first? Thanks.

Locking the differential is not necessary. The cv joints and axle shafts have inner snap rings, which keeps them from falling out, it takes a whack on the backside of the cv joint to get them to come out.
