Muffler too load? What is your s/n of unit, there are four different mufflers shown, three for single cylinder Briggs, and one for twin cylinder Briggs, all for the Z225. Need to identify yours, and then look for a lower decibel unit.

Here is the muffler for the later s/n group of the Z225. after s/n 130001 , it is an improvement over the old muffler, but I find no decibel rating for any of the mufflers. There are aftermarket adapters, that will help. but none or made for this, so it would have to be fabricated by exhaust company to add silencer.
