Is it true that if an iPhone is jailbroken, it will revert

Resolved Question:

Is it true that if an iPhone is jailbroken, it will revert back to its original 'closed' state after future o/s updates from Apple?

Hi and Welcome. My Name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you today with your question. It will not go back to closed state but it will be soft-bricked, meaning the software will be corrupted and you will have to restore it to factory settings from iTunes on your computer. Even the remote erase from iCloud will brick when it is jailbroken. So don't update it. If you have any questions or would like any additional information, please don't hesitate to ask.
