Greetings I just bought an Acer Aspire V5 with windows 8.

Greetings

I just bought an Acer Aspire V5 with windows 8. I installed Office and all works fine on the system with the exception of Word

Word works fine when I go to the start page with the tiles and launch it from there but when I try to open a document from email ( yahoo email) I get a screen inside Word that says that it is attempting to open in protected view,,,and then never completely opens

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem??

I thought it might have something to do with the Acer cloud but I am logged into the cloud and I am also logged into the sky drive but it still will not allow me to open a file sent to me via email.....I also tried saving the files first but it seems that any file sent to me triggers this problem
