i have a small buisness with a samsun dcs816 a pdq line and

Resolved Question:

i have a small buisness with a samsun dcs816 a pdq line and broadband i need these reducing as i can not afford the bills which are £605.59 per quarter is there a way i can get these down to an affordable amount as the buisness does not need all the equipment hoping you can help before i go bust

Yes, I hope so - for two handsets the dcs816 is probably overkill

how long has it all been setup?

over ten year bt took in on from a company called eurotell

i pay bt insurance

Ok, based on what you have I think you would only need a BT Featureline and Business Broadband

Steve Herrod :

the Feature line provides basic phone system services

Steve Herrod :

and is approx £20/month

how do i go about getting this done say phone bt because no one get back to you

Business Broadband should be between £11 and £30 /month

Steve Herrod :

which would work out at £150 /quarter maximum

is there an Account Manager at BT assigned to your account at all?

could you give me his name and phone number as i get passed around all the time

they will have several usually so no idea of which person it would be

one way of getting a very quick response would be to use twitter to contact them (if you have an account) - I've used that several times previously when they have been unresponsive

do you have any idea of cost to get the system up and running

well as you already have a phone line it would need converting to a feature line

Steve Herrod :

which should be £60 although they may do it for free if you commit to a contract

Steve Herrod :

and the broadband should just remain as is

Steve Herrod :

if they need to send an engineer for the dcs816 then they may have a call-out fee as well but I would think they can waive this as you're signing up for new services

Steve Herrod :

and insurance would just be cancelled
