Customer Question

Using the current Excel I have a one sheet that is a Summary sheet. I want to make it automatically insert values from specific cells in the other sheets. How do I do that?

normally you would use a vlookup for this.
So along the lines of
=vlookup(what to match, where to search, which number column to return)
If you do the below to provide me your sheet, I can check it and do this for you to show you
- Click the following link: http://www.wikisend.com
- Upload the file to that website
- Once it is uploaded, the resulting page will display a "File ID" number.
- Please, give me that "File ID Number"

Did you see my last message?
I would need to look at your sheet to know this...
Can you provide it to me as requested please?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
They data is confidential and I don't want to share it with anyone.
All I want to do it take the value from one cell on another sheet in the same workbook, which has a name, and show the same amount (number) in the relevant cell in he summary sheet. I am not IT knowledgeable.
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, you can use this formula id thats all you want to do
=Sheet2!B9
With Sheet2 being the sheet name and the cell being B9
You would change this to reference your sheet and cell in your file.
Let me know how you go please.
