What VAT rate do I use for a SPF caluculation on a renewable

Resolved Question:

What VAT rate do I use for a SPF caluculation on a renewable heating system. The supply and installation of the system was over a year ago and that was charged at 5%. Now the home owner needs the SPF calculation to be able to claim the RHI payment.

Hi
Thanks for your question
As this is merely providing a service after the installation for the customer - this will not qualify for the lower rate of VAT - so it will be standard rate of 20%
Its only the installation of the system that could attract the lower rate.
